Michael A. Sullivan
Michael has 35+ years of financial industry experience with a focus on US public and private markets. He has established and managed businesses in capital markets sales and trading, institutional portfolio management, family office investment advisory and institutional and consumer financial products, ecommerce and fintech. Michael has had the privilege of working at State Street Bank, GE Asset Management, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and Tishman Realty Partners.
At Umergence, Michael, along with his partner Garey Fuqua, works with issuers and investors to provide funding to socially beneficial enterprises in underserved US public and private markets. Expertise covers the sourcing, structuring and placement of bridge and long-term financing for sponsors, operators, developers and owners in seniors housing and care, primary and secondary education, student housing, regional healthcare, and local project finance sectors.
Michael received a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA from Northeastern University and holds series 7, SIE, 24, 53 and 63 licenses.
