Josh Salisbury

Josh is CEO and founder of Salisbury Advisors where the team focuses on Technology and Healthcare. With more than 25 years investment banking, private placement, venture capital, and business development experience, he specializes in private placements for private equity, venture capital, and private companies and strategic mergers and acquisitions assignments. In private placements, he works with both traditional funds (venture and private equity) and esoteric funds (royalties, structured finance). In M&A, Josh works with CEOs of operating companies primarily on private company sell-sides but will also advise on divestitures. Josh has served as a Principal for Wasserstein Perella, a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch and at Morgan Stanley, the Vice President of Eli Lilly Global Corporate Development (including Lilly Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Licensing), a Partner at DRI Capital, and a Partner at AMV Ventures. He has served on the boards of several companies including Accufocus, Remon Medical, and TIF. He was most recently a judge for the Harvard Business School Southeastern Venture competition and a judge for the 43 North Buffalo, NY venture competition ($1 million prize).

 

Josh earned an MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from The University of Chicago.
