Jeff Seo

Jeffrey (Jeff) Seo is Head of Business Development at LifeSci Venture Partners and Managing Partner of Minetta Brook Capital, an investment advisory firm with a broad mandate spanning deep technology ventures and real estate development.

​

Mr. Seo brings over 15 years of senior leadership experience at global financial institutions, where he worked closely with leading U.S. and Asia-based institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and corporate venture capital platforms. Widely regarded as a subject matter expert in U.S. and Asian financial markets, he has served as a strategic bridge between the regions’ capital markets.

Throughout his Wall Street career, Mr. Seo played a pivotal role in building and scaling Institutional Equities and Equity Capital Markets businesses, advising many of the world’s most prominent hedge funds, mutual funds, and family offices. His experience includes senior executive roles at Macquarie Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Piper Sandler, and Maybank.

Mr. Seo began his career as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young in New York, where he successfully passed all four parts of the Certified Public Accountant examination.

He earned a B.S. in Accounting and International Business from New York University Stern School of Business and maintains Series 7, 24, 55, and 63 registrations in good standing with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Mr. Seo splits his time between NYC and Seoul and is a proud girl dad to three daughters.
